Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is not playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this time. The matter was confirmed on Sunday evening. But Shaikb’s wife Umme Al Hasan is saying something else. Shakib is often criticised as he wants to play in the IPL instead of playing for the country. His wife has raised that issue in the post as well. She posted on social media, “Before you get too excited a couple of teams contacted him directly ahead of time if he can be available for the full season, but unfortunately he can’t due to Sri Lanka series! This is why he did not get picked which is not a big deal, it is not the end.”
