UNB, Magura :
Police in a drive arrested two youth and recovered an illegal firearm from Magura bus terminal in the town on Saturday.
The arrested were identified as Habib Mollah, 18, son of Late Mannan Mollah of Prananduali village in Sadar upazila, and Parag Mollah, 24, son of Chaman Mollah of the same village.
Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Jahangir Alam said being tipped-off that illegally imported firearms were kept in Habib’s shop adjacent to Magura bus terminal, a team of police conducted a drive and recovered a bullet-loaded shutter gun from the shop. Police also arrested Habib and Porag from the spot.
