Detective Branch (DB) of police netted two alleged operatives of an organized gang of making forged driving licenses from the city’s Khilgaon area on Wednesday morning.
A DB squad also seized fake driving license producing equipment including one computer monitor, one CPU, laminating machine, punch machine, card printer, card box, CD box and 30 fake driving licenses while raiding Khilgaon area at around 8 in the morning, an official said.
The arrestees, Md Masum Parvez and his accomplice Md Al Mamun have collected order of producing fake driving licenses from different corner of the country and took Taka 1,000 to Tk 4,000 for producing each of the fake licenses, he also said.
A case was lodged to this end.
