In an special drive of detective police of CMP rounded up two hijacking gang masters including chief of Hamka Group , a den of a hijacking gang in city.
In the drive DB police recovered 8 stolen laptop, a number of LED motnitors and 15 mobile sets from their possession.
Deputy Police Commissioner (DB) of CMP Md.Moktar Hossain led the drive. Acting on secret information, the drive was conducted at Kalamiah Bazar.
Abdul Latif Hat area under Bakalia thana managed to apprehend them.
The arrested accused identified as Ujjal alias Kata Jahangir and Osman gani alias Yaba Osma. According to the confessions these hijackers involved with the hijacking in the city since long.
A sources of CMP said Hathkata Jahangir is shouldering 4 criminals cases including 3 arms cases and Osman gani is also accused in 3 criminal cases.
