Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested two men along with 16,608 pieces of Yaba tablets in front of Ershad Filling Station in Ramu upazila early Friday.
The arrestees were identified as Md Billal Miah, 25, son of Khorshed Miah, hailing from Barisal, and Md Sujon Miah, 22, son of Jaber Miah, hailing from Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj district.
Being tipped-off, a team of Rab-7 conducted a drive in the area around 2:30 am and arrested them with the Yaba tablets, said a Rab press release. The elite force members also seized a pick-up van carrying the Yaba tablets.
