Detectives yesterday arrested two persons in Parki area of Anwara upazila in Chittagong in connection with an alleged attack on police on Tuesday night.
The two are Md Foysal Alam of Dudkumra in Anwara, and Md Abdul Mannan of Gobadiya in CUFL area, said Deputy Commissioner (DC) Moktar Hossain of the Detective Branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police.
Detectives were allegedly attacked by a gang when they arrested an alleged Yaba peddler on Tuesday. The arrested, later, was snatched, he said.
