Chittagong district police arrested two persons including mother-in-law of the victim on Tuesday night in connection with killing of a woman and her 5-year-old daughter at Shoroatali area under Boalkhali upazila of the district. Earlier, the victim’s mother Minoti Bala Shill filed a case with Boalkhali thana against five people including victim’s Mother-in-law, husband and sister-in-law for killing her daughter and granddaughter.
Police in a raid arrested Sabita Shill mother-in-law of the victim and their relative.
The body of Shelly Shill, 35 was found hanging from the ceiling in her bedroom while five-year-old daughter Antara Shil was found dead on the bed, Shoroatali village under Boalkhali upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.
