Police has arrested two persons in connection with robbery and killing at Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd (BCBL) at Ashulia, on the outskirt of Dhaka. Police detained them from the house of an Abdul Khaleque in Tongi area in the early hours of Friday. One of detainee is identified as Saiful Islam, but identity of another detainee could not be known. Robbers equipped with arms and bombs attacked Bangladesh Commerce Bank of Kathgara branch at Ashulia on Tuesday. The locals resisted the robbers while fleeing after looting the bank and killing bank manager and other seven people including security guard.
