Police arrested two persons along with a revolver and six bullets while they were threatening one of their relatives in Chittagong’s West Madarbari area on Thursday evening.
The arrestees are Abdur Rauf, 39, and his nephew Arshadur Rahman Apu, 28.
The duo went to a restaurant in the area where Rauf’s brother Abdur Razzak worked, said Nezam Uddin, officer-in-charge of Sadarghat Police Station.
They started to threaten Razzak at gunpoint to leave his paternal house, he said quoting witnesses. Locals detained the duo and informed police, the OC added.
Apu is son of another brother of Rauf, he said, adding that police are looking into the matter.
