2 held for gang rape in Ctg

Police arrested two persons accused of gang rape of a housewife who was unable to pay loan of a Multipurpose Cooperative Society at Kolpolok residential area under Bakalia thana early Sunday morning.
The arrestees were identified as Advocate Bahadur, 35 and Nur Mohammad, 35, former Juba League leader of the area.
According to Bakalia Police Source, the Multipurpose Cooperative Society is run by Nur Mohammad. The victim along with her husband took some money from the Multipurpose Cooperative Society on September last as loan. But he was unable to pay the money on time.
When Nur Mohammad came to know that the victim was unable to pay the money, he kidnapped her and locked her at the Multipurpose office on November 5 and raped her. After the incident, victims filed a case.
