Police arrested two female drug traders and seized 1,000 pieces of yaba, and cash Tk 21,63,900 from the city’s North Jatrabari area on Tuesday noon.
The detained drug traders have been identified as Hafeza(50) and Ayesha(21), who used to live in a rented flat in the North Jatrabari area.
Obani Sangkar Kar, Officer-in-Charge of Jatrabari Police Station, said, getting information police raided a house at North Jatrabari at about 2.30 pm and arrested them with the drug and money.
Police has been interrogating them, he said.
