Gazipur Correspondent :
Two factory worker were killed and another was injured as they have come to touch with electricity in knee -deep water at a room at Suny Spinning Mills , a concerned of Al-Amin Group at Mauchak Nishchantopur area under Kaliakoir Upazila of the district on Tuesday.
They were identified as Abu Sayed,60, son of late Danej Uddin of Harina area under Sadar Upaizla of Sirajgonj district and Ibrahim Hossain,18, son of Habib Chawdhury of Muradpur village under Baniachang Upazila of Habigonj district.
According to the factory sources, due to heavy rail fall , water logged at into the room of the security guard of the factory . the water some how connected with electricity . After stopping the rain fall, Abu Sayed, a security guard stepped into the water and electrocuted and died on spot. Later, Ibrahim and Aminul rushed to the spot and also became connected with electricity.
Ibrahim died on spot and Aminul injured critically.
On information police recovered the body and handed over the body to the family member. The injured Aminul was taken to nearby hospital.
Sub- Inspector Sayed Azhrul Islam, of Mauchak police out post under Kaliakoir police station confirmed the incident and told, a UD case was filed in this connection.
