UNB, Gopalganj :
A man and a woman were died from electrocution at Char Kushli village in Tungipara upazila on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Sribash Khan, 45, son of late Bishnu Charan Khan and Nazma Begum, 50, wife of Nazrul Islam Sheikh.
A K M Enamul Kabir, officer-in-charge of Tumgipara Police Station, said that Nazma came in contact with a live electric wire of their irrigation pump beside their house and injured critically.
Hearing her screaming, Sribas and her husband Nazrul came to rescue her and also got injured.
Later, the three injured people were rushed to Gopalganj General Hospital where doctors declared the duo dead.
