UNB, Chandpur :
Two people have died in separate incidents of electrocution in the district town and Kachua upazila of the district.
An auto-bike driver, M Rahim Mandal, 32, son of Osman Gani Mandal, hailing from Jamtali Tulshipur village in Tangail district, was electrocuted at Puran Bazar Purba Shrimadi of Sadar upazila on Monday morning.
Rahim suffered injuries as he came in contact with a live wire while opening the cable charge from the electricity connection around 10am.
He was taken to Chandpur General Hospital where doctor declared him dead, said Bapan Chakrabarti, sub-inspector of Chanddpur Model Police Station.
