 Staff Reporter :
A court here on Thursday put two drivers on a 2-day remand each in a case over the injury of Govt Titumir College student Rajib Hasan being pressed between two buses in the city.
Those remanded are BRTC bus driver Wahid and ‘Swajan Paribahan’ bus driver Khorshed. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Judge Abdullah Al Masud passed the order after the

investigation officer of the case sub-inspector Aftab Ali of Shabagh Police Station sought a three-day remand to interrogate the duo. Earlier on Wednesday, the High Court asked the bus owners to bear the treatment cost of the victim. The HC also issued a rule asking the authorities concerned to explain as to why directives should not be given to provide Tk 1 crore as compensation to Rajib.
