A two-day ‘Indian Education Fair’ will begin at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BCC) in the city today (Friday).
SS Exhibition and Media Privet Limited (SEMPL), India, is organizing the fair in association with Shamannay Bangladesh and GEE Bangladesh, SEMPL Director Manish Dhanda said at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity.
The Indian High Commission in Dhaka supporting the fair, he added.
Chief Executive Officer of GEE Bangladesh Biplab Chandra Chakrabarti and Riyad Rahman of Shamannay Bangladesh were present at the press conference, among others.
Biplab Chandra Chakrabarti said the two-day fair will be inaugurated at 10:30 am on Friday (July 6) and will remain open for all till 7 pm. The fair will open at 10 am on the second day, July 7, and it will end at 7 pm.
More than 30 leading universities of India, including Vellore Institute of Technology, SRM University and Sharda University, will take part in the fair, he informed.
