Three persons, including two policemen, were injured in a ‘gunfight’ in Cox’s Bazar on Monday, police claimed.
Cox’s Bazar Detective Police OC Manzur Alam said that the encounter took place early morning at the Dariyanagar area.
One Jaker Hossain, 28, who the police claimed to be a yaba trader, was shot in the leg during the exchange of fires.
He has been admitted to the Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
