DU Correspondent :A group of the Dhaka University (DU) students on Tuesday vandalised two buses in front of the High Court over a trifle matter. However, no one was injured, nor arrested in this connection. Sources said, two students of Botany Department of DU were coming to campus by Jatrabari-Mirpur bound bus. The students requested the bus conductor to charge half-fare. But the conductor hurled abusive words at the students. At one stage they were locked into clash. The students sent message to their fellows, who came in their aid in front of the High Court. They also vandalised two buses. A student of Botany Department said that the bus driver and conductor misbehaved with the students. They hurled abusive words at the students without any rational causes, he alleged. Bus driver and the conductor declined outright the allegations brought against them, saying that they take half fare from the students and they never misbehave with them.
