2 bodies recovered

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) recovered two bodies in separate incidents from city’s Pologround and Bakalia areas yesterday..
The bodies were identified as school student Mohammad Tanvir, 12 and garment worker Ity Aktar, 25.
Kotwali police said the employees of Raliway Officers’ Club found the body of Tanvir on the rooftop of the club this noon and informed the police.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Tanvir, a class six student of Railway Public School, had been missing since Friday evening, police said adding that he might have been electrocuted while he went to the rooftop to pick up mangoes.
Meanwhile, Bakalia police recovered the body of Ity from her rented house at Miakhan Nagar area under Bakalia thana around 10am.
Police arrested her husband Rabiul, 30 in this connection.
Police suspected that drug addicted husband killed her wife Ity by strangulating following quarrel.
The body was sent to CMCH morgue for autopsy.
