Two bodies have been recovered from Narayanganj’s Rupganj and Fatulla Upazilas. Police suspect the men were murdered.
Thirty eight-year old Anwar Hossain was found dead at Rupganj’s Machhimpur. Rupganj
police OC Mir Asaduzzaman said Hossain’s body had torture marks. It was not clear why he was murdered and who the killers were. Locals say Hossain, hailing from Narsinghdi Sadar Upazila, lived at Asad Ali’s house in Barpa.
There was no indication that he had any prior animosity with anyone.
In a separate development, a worker at Fatulla’s ‘Osman Dying Factory’ was allegedly lynched by his co-workers.
