Police recovered two bodies in the city’s Uttara area on Friday and Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Imran Hossain (17), resident of Uttarkhan, Dhaka, and Ismail Khandakar (62) resident of Abdullahpur, Uttara, Dhaka.
Nizam Uddin, Sub-Inspector of Dakkhinkhan Police Station said that Imran’s body was recovered from Balur Math near the Joradia Bridge on Saturday morning. He was missing since March 13.
Imran might have been killed over extramarital affair with his cousin’s wife Taslima, he added.
In other development, police recovered body of an elderly Ismail Khandakar
from Beribadh area on Friday night.
Salah Uddin, Sub-Inspector of Uttara Police Station said, Ismail was injured in a quarrel with his neighbour Nur Nahar and Nawab Ali at Sikder slum.
He was taken to a local hospital where doctor declared him dead.
Police sent the bodies to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
