Chittagong Metropolitan Police in a drive arrested two youths with a country-made light gun (LG) from Moijjartek area under Karnaphuli Thana on Sunday night.
The arrested were identified as Jiku, 22, and Azam, 30, both hailing from Dohazari village under Chandanaish Upazila of the district.
Police also detained a private car which was carrying them.
Based on secrete information, a team of Karnaphuli Thana police stopped the car and arrested them with LG, said Rafiqul Islam, Officer- in- Charge (OC) of Karnaphuli police station. A case was filed in this connection, he added.
