A court here on Saturday put two traffic policemen in a case filed for their attempt to snatch valuables from an egg trader on a two-day remand. The remanded policemen are- constables Latifuzzaman and Raziqul, posted in Traffic North Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sharafat Zaman Ansari passed the order after Debraj Chakrabarty, sub-inspector of Shahbagh
Police Station, produced them before the court seeking a seven-day remand.
Earlier, two traffic policemen were arrested at Karwanbazar in the city on Friday on charge of trying to snatch valuables from an egg trader. Later, a case was filed against them with Shahbagh Police Station.
