Two drug peddlers including wife of a police constable rounded up by the mobile team of Narcotcs control department in Chittagong.
They were arrested from infront of Bangkok-Singapore market I city on Saturday . The detained identified as Fatema Jannat)40) and NasirAhmed (24) Inspector of Narcotics deptt of Chittagong Metro zone Brazalal chakma told that 900 pieces of yaba recovered from their possession. Sources said these yaba tablets were brought inside the bettlenut .
They went to Agrabad Singapore market to handover these to the party of drug trading there. Acting on secret information , Narcotics te am members caught them redhanded from the market area and recovered the yaba filled bitternuts from them. Sources said Fatema Begum is the wife of police constable Rafiqul Islam. Police constable now posted in Habigonj thana . Case under narcotics act was filed with the concerned thana,s ources said.
