The first Open Women’s Beach Kabaddi competition will begin on Friday (May 8) at the Laboni point of the tourist city Cox’sbazar sea beach.
Organised by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF), the two-day meet will be held in round robin league basis and top finisher of the points table will be champions.
The champion team will get Taka 20,000.00 as prize money while the runners up get Taka 10,000.00.
Besides, the each participating teams will have Taka 10,000.00 as prize money.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Monday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium conference room to give all the details of the meet.
The participating teams are Azad Sporting Club, Jurain Janata Club, Institute of Kabaddi Dhaka and Cox’s bazaar women’s sports association beach team.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation general secretary M Nazrul Islam and Bangladesh Tourism Corporation manager marketing and PR Parvez Ahmed Chowdhury, were among others present on the occasion.
