The first merit list for college admission has been published at midnight on Sunday.
A total of 1,249,848 students, who passed this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, have been published in the first list said Md Ashfaqus Salehin, Dhaka Education Board’s College Inspector on Monday.
The result can be seen on www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd. Besides, the students were also notified through mobile SMS, he added.
Salehin said that 95.03 percent students among the applicants were put into the first list. Results after second and third rounds of selection process will be published on Jun 13 and Jun 18.
The selected students are instructed to pay Tk185 through Teletalk, SureCash or Rocket by 11:59pm on Jun 8, to ensure their submission; otherwise, the nomination and admission application will be cancelled.
Like previous years, the college admission will be done on online this year as well.
Institute of Information and Communication Technology and Computer Science and Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) will supervise the admission procedures.
