The 19th Young Artists Fine Arts Exhibition is scheduled to be held at the National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) from June 11 to 25. Fine A. Department of BSA is the organiser of the exhibition. Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will inaugurate the exhibition today at 12:oo noon as the chief guest. He will also distribute prizes among the winners. Secretary of the Cultural Affairs Ministry Dr Ranjit Kumar Biswas and veteran artist Qayyum Chowdleny will be pres- ent as special guest at the inauguration, which will be chaired by Director General of BSA Liaquat Ali Lucky. A total of 1.97 selected artworks induding 4o sculptures and 14 installation tuts will put on display in the exhibition. This was announced at a press conference held at the Seminar Room of the National Art Gallery of BSA yesterday. Director of Fine Arts of BSA Md Anwar Hossain, Secretary of BSA Jahangir Hossein Chowdhury, instructors of Fine Arts Department of BSA Proddyut Kumar Das, Maul Hashem Rashed, Assistant Director (Programme) of Fine Arts of BSA AM Mostaq Ahmmed, Assistant Director of Mee Arts (Gallery) of BSA Swajan Haidar, among others, were present at the conference. The exhibition will remain open for all from itooam to 8:oopm everyday except Friday from 3:oopm to 8:oopm.
