The theme of “Branding Bangladesh” a two days long 17th Entrepreneurship Fair and Business Plan Competition-2016 was held at Southern University Bangladesh on 14-15 December 2016.
Department of Business Administration organised the Fair while it was inaugurated Shah Zulfiqar, Business Development Consultant Texas, USA
Initiator and Founder MrSarwarJahan ,Engr. Ali Ahmed, Chairman, Astech Group of Companies, Dean of Business Administration Prof.Dr A.N.M Abdul Muqtader, prof. A.J.M NuruddinChowdhury, Head of Business Administration Mrs. Dr. IshratJahan, Associate Prof. of Business Administration KaziNazmul Huda, competition judges ZamshedulAlam, Advertisement Manager, The Daily Prothom Alo, Towhid Ahmed,Promotion Media and Communication In charge, Deputy Director of Mamata, Md. ShihabUddin Khan, Head of HR Midas Safety, teachers of Business Administration and students were also presents the program.
Speakers said, an entrepreneur has the power to generate employments for the people and contribute to the country’s economy. Entrepreneurs fair stressed on lasting development and called upon the students to build themselves as the worthy entrepreneurs to face the challenges in the coming days.
In the closing and awarding ceremony of the fair was held on 15th December 2016 where Mrs. Monowara Hakim Ali, Director FBCCI, Mr. SarwarJahanFonnder of Southern University were present the fair and encourage the new entrepreneurs. The participating BBA students of Entrepreneurship Development course will come up with creative business models of 30 stalls where represents the different districts. The fair was ended in the midst of greater festivity and jovial atmosphere. Later certificates were awarded among the participated stalls after the end of the fair.
The total program was coordinated and designed by Associate Prof. of Business Administration KaziNazmul Huda.
