On the occasion of Mujib’s birth centenary, 170 homeless people are getting houses in Lohagara. These houses are being given to the landless and homeless families of the upazila in the second phase as a gift from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Each semi-finished house with 2 acres of land has two rooms with veranda, a kitchen, a bathroom, electricity and clean water facilities. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate these houses on June 20 through video conference.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ahsan Habib Jitu said this at a press briefing with reporters at the Upazila Parishad meeting room on Thursday at the initiative of the Upazila administration.
