Eleven people died in Corona in Sylhet division last November. However, 18 people died in 20 days of the current month (December). The increase in casualties in Corona has created panic in the minds of the people.
According to the Sylhet Divisional Director (Health), 233 people died in Corona in Sylhet Division till the last day of October. And 11 people lost their lives in the whole month of November. However, as the prevalence of winter has increased this month, the death rate in Corona has also increased.
In the last 20 days of the month, 18 people died of coronavirus in this region. So far, a total of 261 people have died in Sylhet division. However, no one has died in the last 24 hours in Sylhet. Of the 261 people killed so far, 197 were in Sylhet district, 26 in Sunamganj, 18 in Habiganj and 22 in Moulvibazar.
Meanwhile, 56 more corona patients were identified in Sylhet division in 24 hours. Of these, 50 are in Sylhet district, 2 in Habiganj and 4 in Moulvibazar.
A total of 15275 corona patients were identified in Sylhet division till 8 am on Monday (December 21). Of these, 8963 were in Sylhet district, 2504 in Sunamganj, 1942 in Habiganj and 1866 in Moulvibazar district.
On the other hand, in Sylhet,
50 people have recovered from Corona in the last 24 hours. Of these, 44 are in Sylhet district, 5 in Sunamganj and 1 in Habiganj.
With these 50 people, a total of 14170 people have recovered from Corona in Sylhet division till 8 am today. Of these, 8409 are in Sylhet, 2448 in Sunamganj, 1585 in Habiganj and 1729 in Moulvibazar.
Till this morning, 31 corona patients have been admitted in different hospitals of Sylhet division. Of these, 29 are in Sylhet district and 2 in Habiganj.
