At least 12 persons were killed and 50 others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Thursday.
In Brahmanbaria, at least three persons including two motorcyclists were killed in separate road crashes of the district on Thursday.
At Sarail, two motorcyclists were killed when a private car rammed them on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway of the upazila on Thursday noon.
The deceased were identified as Nahid, son of one Towhid Miah from the Poirotala and Pervez son of one Mortuza from Sarkerpara.
Hossain Sarker, Officer in-Charge of Highway Police confirmed the matter to the media.
At Kosba, a van driver named Harun Miah,42, were killed when a train hit him in Noapara of the upazila.
In Dinajpur, at least three persons including a child were killed when a passenger bus rammed an auto-rickshaw in Sadar upazila of the district on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ashraful Alam, 32, son of one Afsar Ali of Jamalpur village in Bagatipara upazila, his daughter Ivy, 10 and Sajder Khalifa, 48.

In Panchagarh, a motorcyclist named Abu Sayeed, 28, was killed when a BRTC bus rammed the motorcycle of Sayeed just in front of Boda Municipality of the district on Thursday morning.
The deceased was an official of Kazi Farms Feed Mill.
Boda Police Station Officer in-Charge (OC) Abu Sayem told the news to the media.
In Mymensingh, a bus passenger named Sirajul Islam, 50, was killed and 15 other passengers seriously injured when truck hit the vehicle in Gauiripur upazila of the district early Thursday.
