A total of 159 houses under Naldanga Upazila of the district have been brought under the rural electrification network by Natore Palli Biddyut Samity-1.
Md. Shafiqul Islam Shimul, local lawmaker and General Secretary of District Awami League, formally inaugurated the new connection line as the chief guest at a function held at the premises of Brammapur Government Primary School on Wednesday evening.
Assistant General Manager of Natore Palli Biddyut Samity-1 Nur-E-Alam, Mayor of Naldanga Pourashava Shafir Uddin Mondol, Joint Secretary of District Awami League Syed Murtuza Ali Bablu, General Secretary of Upazila Awami League S.M. Firoz, Brammapur Union Parishad Chairman Hafizur Rahman also spoke on the occasion while Union Awami League President Tauhidur Rahman chaired the function.
Natore Palli Biddyut Samity implemented the programme at a cost of Taka 98.83 lakh.
