Police in 24-hour special drives detained 154 people accused in different cases from 14 thana areas of Mymensingh district.
The detainees were sent to prison through court on Wednesday afternoon (April 26).District Superintendent of Police (SP) Sayeed Nurul Islam said several police team, led by Katwali Model thana officer-in-charge (OC) Kamrul Islam, conducted the drives in different areas.
Police seized 30grams of heroine, one kilograms of helm and 245 pieces of yaba tablet in the drives. The detainees were accused in several cases including theft and robbery, arms and narcotics, SP added.
