Miscreants vandalised some 15 idols at a Hindu temple at Karmakarpara in Ashashuni upazila early Wednesday.
Karmakarpara Sarbajanin Durga Puja temple president Amit Som Ghosh said the miscreants stormed the temple in the area in the dead of night and damaged 15 idols of different Hindu goddesses.
The incident came to light on Wednesday morning when devotees went to the temple.
Officer-in-charge of Ashashuni Police Station Ajmal Huda confirmed the matter.
