At least 15 people were injured in a clash between the workers of a garments factory and police during their demonstration for wage hike on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Bandar upazila on Saturday.
Sources said several workers of a garments factory of Partex Group staged demonstration demanding wage hike in front of their factory at Madanpur around 7.00am.
At one stage, the workers took to the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway and staged demonstration, disrupting traffic on the busy road for about one and a half hours.
