The 14th National Long Distance Swimming Championship under the auspices of Bangladesh Swimming Federation will be held on October 15 in the Bangshai River under Ghatail upazila of Tangail district.
An open trial for the meet will be held on Monday (October 5) at 10 am at the Syed Nazrul Islam National Swimming Complex in Mirpur.
Maximum two men’s and two women’s swimmers from an organisation will be entitled to participate in the open trial and the interested swimmers have to report to the trial venue by 9:30 am on October 5, said a Bangladesh Swimming Federation press release on Tuesday.
