140 new books land in fair on 12th day

One hundred and forty-new books landed at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair on Wednesday, the 12th day.
Of them, 20 were storybooks, 25 novels, 15 essay books, 31 poems, two research, 10 children literature, five biography, six on Liberation War, one on science, 10 on travel, four on politics, two on religious, two on history, one dictionary and 10 on other subjects.
The new books are Kajol Nodir Jole by Andalib Rashdi, Narigon by Shahbuddin Nagri, Shealer Fade Murgir Pa by Forkan Ahmed, Taser Ghore Basher Khuti by Golam Mowla Roni, Maer Bhasha by Masud, Muktijoddher Birsherstho by Faroque Nawaz, Swapanacharini by KM Golam Mortaja, Borofe Agun by Gias Mohan, Rani Rashmoni 0 Tar Jibon Darshan by Amalendu Kumar Das, Ahasidul Khawanin by Dr Khaled Masuke Rasul, Tottabodhayok Sarker 0 Bangladesher Sadharon Nirbachon by SM Anwara Begum, Ninebhe by Gazi Yasinul Islam, Faridpure Nazrul by Mafiz Imam Milon, Nittananda 0 Totkalin Bongasomaj by Ranajit Kar, Leo Tolstoy Onek Prosongger Koekti by Sirajul Islam Chowdhury, Ranapari by Dipu Mahmud, Mujib Nagarer Galpa and Shantomonir Akaaki by Rafiqur Rashid, Ek Bikele Ek Projapoti by Kumar Protish Bal, Ek Shealer Kando by Mozammel Haque Niogi, Koster Karati by Iqbal Hossain Tapam, Crusade by Shahadat Hossain Khan, Moti by Chowdhury Noor Hossain, Ghatu Gan by Wakil Ahmed and Songkoter Abarte Bangladesh by Imran Ansari.
Yesterday swarmed with crowds, Sales were encouraging, said Mohammad Shakhawat Hossain of Annesha Prokashon.
A fascinating cultural programme was held in the evening with the participation of hundreds people. Discussion on “Banglar Nabojagorone Mohammad Rawshan Ali Chowdhury” was held on the main stage yestrday.
Dr Maniruzzaman presided over the programme while Israfil Khan presented the keynote paper. Shakhawat Ali Khan, Shafiul Alam and Rahman Habib discussed at the programme.
