Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained 14 women , men and children while they were illegally returning Bangladesh from India without valid documents through putkhali border on Monday afternoon.
Lieutenant Colonel Emranullah Sarkar, commanding officer of BGB-21 battalion said Acting on secret information, a team of BGB-21 conducted a drive in the area and detained 6 women 6 men and 2 children. They hail from different area od Norail and Barisal district.
Later, BGB were handed over them to Benapole Port Police Station.
A case was filed in this connection.
