The Detective Branch (DB) have recovered 13 thousand Yaba tablets and a microbus used for smuggling from under the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover.
A team of DB seized the Yaba consignment and arrested five suspects.
They are Hazrat Ali, Ershad Khan, Abdur Rashid, Md. Soliaman and Jakaria Islam.
Deputy Commissioner of Media and Public Relations of DMP Masudur Rahman told these to the reporters.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the tablets are collected from Cox’s Bazar and sent to Dhaka city.
