13 BNP leaders expelled

Thirteen leaders of BNP and its associate bodies have been expelled from the party on charge of violating the party discipline.
The 13 leaders are Mymensingh’s Dhobaura upazila unit BNP joint secretary Mahbubul Alam Babul, its assistant organising secretary Rokanuzzaman Rubel, Mymensingh district Jubo Dal general secretary Shamsul Haque Shamsu, North Mymensingh’s Purakandalia Union BNP president Azizul Haque, Barisal North District BNP joint general secretary Principal Humayun and its vice-president Asad Mahmud, Chittagong’s Boalkhali upazila BNP
member Shafiqul Islam Shahin, Kishoreganj Poura’s 2 No Ward BNP member Captain (retd) Salauddin Ahmed Selu, Rajshahi district BNP joint general secretary and also Bagmara upazila BNP general secretary DM Ziaur Rahman, Jhalakati Sadar upazila Jubo Dal President Shawkat Hossain Khokan, its member Shahidul Islam, Jhalakati district BNP religious affairs secretary and also Kathalia upazila BNP joint general secretary Abdul Jalil Miazi and Kathalia upazila BNP vice president Jalal Akanda.
A press release signed by BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Thursday said they were expelled from the party also for their involvement in the activities against the interest of the party.
