Customs preventive team with the help of National Security Intelligence (NSI) recovered 12kg gold from a toilet of an aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Monday morning.
The flight of Biman landed at the Airport from Abu Dhabi via Chattogram around 9:20am.
Being a tipped off, the team raided the aircraft and recovered the gold around 10:20am in an abandoned condition, said Othello Chowdhury, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Customs House.
