A mobile court has fined twelve people for violating hygiene rules and not wearing masks at various places in Kapasia upazila of Gazipur amid the outbreak of corona virus. Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Mosa. Ismat Ara conducted the court at Trimohoni and Ghagtia Chala Bazar of the upazila on Wednesday afternoon, March 31 to prevent coronavirus infection.
According to mobile court sources, special emphasis has been laid on the implementation of 18 points and the use of mandatory masks to prevent corona virus infection in the administration. Therefore, 12 people were fined Tk 4,100 for not using masks as per the Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control Act-2018. The general public is also advised to take effective steps to protect health.
