Bangladesh Coast Gaurd (BCG) West Zone arrested 12 fishermen and recovered 4400 kgs of Shark from a engine boat at Harinpala Echo park area in the river Baleswar in Sundarbans on Fridat night.
Operation officer of BCG West Zone Lt. Commander M Fariduzzaman said, on secret information, a special team of BCG conducted a raid on the river Baleswar and arrested the Fishermen while they were netting shark around 19.30 pm last night. “We seized 4400 kgs of shark from the boat after searching.
