Bogra district police recorvered a huge quantity of Indian goods including narcotic items and also recovered a foreign made pistol with two rounds of ammunition and a magazine on Tuesday in separate overnight drive. Police detained at least 112 people from 12 police stations under the special drive. All arrestees are accused over different cases including in arson and vandalism.
ASP B’ circle of the district Uzzal Kumar said on a mobile message that acting on tiff-op a team of police seized a foreign made 7.65mm pistol with 2 rounds bullet and one magazine from Fuldighi Moddhapara in Sajahanpur upazila on the early Wednesday. Police also arrested Nayeeb Ali, 38, son of Iddrish Ali of the village in to involve the connection of the case.
Uzzal Kumar also said that others team of police also seized 9gm heroin, 38 yaba tablets, 50 bottles of phencidyl, with 4 liters of liquid phencidyl, 9.5gm hemp, 145 pieces of Indian Sharee, 77 piece horlicks, 2500 Indian potka, two local made sharp weapons (ram da) among others. A total of 13 cases were lodged with the separate police stations in these connections, ASP added.
