Chattogram City Corporation has given a grant of Tk 1 crore 11 lakh 30 thousand to 1 thousand 113 women entrepreneurs of the city. Administrator Khorshed Alam Sujon inaugurated the distribution program of the grant under the Marginalized Community Livelihood Development project at the CCC Conference Room on Thursday.
Beneficiaries from 18 city wards took part in the event through Zoom. Under the socio-economic fund, the grant was distributed among the unemployed poor marginalized people of the city due to Covid-19.
UNDP and FCDO have assisted CCC in this activity. Money has been distributed to everyone through their Rocket account.
CCC CEO Kazi Muhammad Mozammel Haque presided over the function.
Among others, Project Director Abdul Mannan, Project International Manager Yogesh Farhanan spoke.
