Chittagong District police in a series of special drive arrested 111 listed accused from different upazilas of the district on Sunday night. In the drive about 150 liters of country made wine(cholai madh) and 108 pieces of yaba also recovered during the period. In addition to upazila police additional police forces participated in the drives that were conducted in different parts of south Chittagong upazilas. Additional Superintendents of police (ASP) of district Special Branch Naimul Islam said the arrestees were accused in different cases for a long time and most of them are absconders.
