11 more killed in road crashes

At least 11 more persons including a college teacher were killed and many others critically injured in separate road crashes across the country on Saturday.
In Bogura, at least three persons were killed and three others critically injured in head to head collision between a private car and CNG in Adamdighi upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon.
The accident took place at Morail Bazar on the Regional Highway of the upazila.
The deceased were identified as CNG driver Afjal Hossain,45, from Dupchaciya, Sahidul Islam,64, from Adamdighi and Shyamol Saha,55 of the same upazila.
Monirul Islam, Officer in-Charge (OC) Adamdighi Police Station confirmed the news to media.
In Narail, two motorcyclists were killed and two more injured in a road accident in Bagudanga Bottola area under Noragati upazila on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Biplob Ghash, 16, son of Milon Ghosh and Badhan Biswas, 17, son of Ajit Biswas of Jogania village in the upazila.
Md Alamgir Kabir, officer in charge of Noragati Police Station told the news media.
In Chattogram, two persons including a van driver named Anwar Hossain,31, another a pedestrian named Ma Kamal,70, were killed in separate road crashes on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Baraiyarhat of Mirsarai upazila on Saturday.
Md Sumon Mia, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Zorargonj Police Station confirmed the matter to media.
In Dhaka, a helper of a bus was killed when another bus rammed him at Sayedabad Bus Terminal in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased could not be identified yet, said police.

In Dinajpur, a college teacher was killed when a tuck rammed him at Kolabari of Ghoragat Upazila of the district on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Anwar Hossain Ujjal, 32, lecturer of Raniganj Mohila College. Agitated locals seized the truck and handed it over to police.
Amirul Islam, Officer in-Charge (OC) of Ghoragaht Police Station confirmed the matter to media.
In Barishal, a woman was killed and three other people were injured when a bus hit into a human-hauler on the Barishal-Patuakhali Highway in Rupatoli area on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Renu Begum, 50, wife of one Rouf Hawlader, a resident of Rupatoli area.
Mostafizur Rahman, Sub-Inspector of Kotwali Model Police told the news media.
