In a latest reshuffle in the police administration, the Home Ministry has transferred 11 Superintendent of Police (SP) ranked officials, including eight Deputy Commissioners, to different districts.
The ministry issued a circular in this regard on Sunday.

As per the order, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioners Dr AHM Kamruzzaman has been made SP of Laxmipur
while Alimuzzaman made SP of Faridpur, Liton Kumar Saha SP of Natore, Mohammad Anisur Rahman SP of Brahmanbaria, Md Akbar Ali Munshi SP of Netrakona, SM Murad Ali SP of Meherpur, Pralay Kumar Joarder SP of Narsingdi and Mohammad Mahbub Hasan made SP of Madaripur.
Besides, Special Unit police Superintendent Md Mizanur Rahman has been made SP of Sunamganj, Police Headquarters’ Assistant Inspector General Faruque Ahmed made SP of Moulvibazar, and Meherpur Police Superintendent Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman has been transferred to Satkhira.
