10,000 yaba pills recovered in Lohagara

Police have arrested 3 drug dealers with 10,000 yaba pills in Lohagara of Chittagong district.
At that time a private car used for smuggling was seized.
The detainees are Mohammad Ali (27) son of Kala Mia of Teknaf Naikhyangkhali area of Cox’s Bazar, Musa(50) son of late Abdul Haji of Chakaria Sikder Para and Ismail(25) son of Nazir Ahmed of the same area.
They were detained on Sunday night on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway in front of the Chunti Forest Range office in the upazila.
According to the police, on secret information, a team of Lohagara thana police led by SI Golam Kibria arrested them at around 10 pm on Sunday night.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lohagara Police Station Jaker Hossain Mahmud said a case was filed against the detainees under the Narcotics Control Act. He said they were sent to the Chittagong court on the morning of February 15.
