Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon yesterday laid foundation stone of a 10-storey building on the premises of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College here.
On the occasion at a function, he said, “We should to ensure a congenial academic atmosphere at the educational institutions through constructing necessary infrastructures.”
After completing the construction work of the 10-storey building, it will further improve academic environment at Viqarunnisa Noon School and college, he added. Chairman of the governing body of Viqarunnisa Noon School and college Nazmul Haq Khan, among others, addressed the function with principal of the school and college Sufia Khatun in the chair. Menon said, “Viqarunnisa Noon School and college is one of the best schools and colleges of the country. Teachers and guardians of the school deserve special appreciation for continued success at different public examinations.”
“Our children are extremely brilliant…If they are given adequate facilities, they will do better at international level, the minister added. He urged the students of the Viqarunnisa Noon School and college to develop a sense of patriotism alongside achieving highest academic excellence to make Bangladesh a developed country.
